How we became a Which? Trusted Trader
Which? Trusted Trader is a program developed by the consumer watchdog organisation Which? to help consumers find reputable tradespeople and businesses. Coral underwent assessment by 'Which?' in 2017, with their trading standards professional ensuring we met the stringent criteria set out to obtain our 'Which? Trusted Trader' endorsement.
We have continued to meet these criteria as Which? Trusted Trader conduct regular and ongoing checks with those who have achieved endorsement to make sure they still meet the exceptional standards needed.
The assessment started with a detailed application that included information about our business, qualifications, experience, and customer references. This initial step allows Which? to gather essential background information about the company.
The Which? Trusted Trader Assessment process included various independent reports on all aspects of our company to provide certainty in their findings, ensuring we are reliable and trustworthy, and sealing our reputable services with their approval.
These assessments include four main components: Customer satisfaction, Interview and Assessment, Business Procedures, and Credit Report.
Customer Satisfaction
The Which? Trusted Trader team contacts a selection of recent customers from a company's most recent work to check references and satisfaction with the work that has been completed for them.
Interview and Assessment
The visit includes an assessment of various aspects of the business such as administrative processes, documentation and complaints procedures. There's also an in depth interview carried out by the trading standards profession to understand every aspect of how the applicant's business operates.
Business Procedures
Which? Trusted Traders must meet the Which? Code of Conduct, and 'What is expected of you?' document within their business procedures. These documents cover every aspect of business conduct, documentation, and outcomes, intending to create the best possible service for customers.
Credit Report
There is a thorough credit report check completed to assess the financial health of a business by determining the lending reliability and payment history of a company.
