GDPR PRIVACY NOTICE

The importance of your privacy

At Coral Windows we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information for the purpose of processing your enquiries and to provide information on products and services you have requested or shown interest in. We will never sell your data on to third parties.

Who we are

Coral Windows (Bradford) Limited and Coral Windows Limited (Coral) are suppliers of UPVC windows, doors, soffits & facia, conservatories and related products and services.

Personal Data we may collect

Coral uses the information collected from you to provide quotations, make telephone contact and to email you marketing information which we believe may be of interest to you. In you making initial contact you consent to Coral maintaining a marketing dialogue with you unless you tell us you no longer wish to receive such contact which you can do at any stage.

IP Addresses

Some personal data may be collected about you from the forms and surveys you complete, from records of our correspondence and phone calls and details of your visits to our website.  Internet Protocol (IP) address is a unique numerical address assign to a computer as it logs on to the internet and when visiting our site. Coral do not have access to any personal identifiable information and would not seek this information.  Our analytic software only uses the information for statistical purposes such as number of visitors to our site and from which region.

Google Analytics

Coral may also collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its website using Google Analytics which is a third-party information storage system that records information about the pages you visit, time you were on specific pages, and the website in general. Cookies

Coral website uses cookies, which is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. WordPress.org uses cookies to help Coral identify and track visitors and their website access preferences. Coral website visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Coral website.

Internet Based Advertising

We use Internet Based Advertising services and as such there are tracking codes installed on our website so that we can manage the effectiveness of these campaigns. We do not store any personal data within this type of tracking.

Any information Coral holds about you encompasses all the details we hold about you and any sales transactions including any third-party information we have obtain about you from public sources and our own suppliers such as credit referencing agencies.

Coral will only collect the information needed so that it can provide you with product and service information, we will use this information subject to your instructions, data protection law, and our duty of confidentiality. You have the right at any time to ask us to stop contacting you.

Legal basis for processing any personal data

To meet Coral contractual obligations to clients, updates on products and services, to also respond to marketing enquiries on our products and services, or to fulfil obligations under an employment contract.

Coral may on occasions pass your Personal Information to third parties exclusively to process work on its behalf. Coral Windows requires these parties to agree to process this information based on our instructions and requirements consistent with this Privacy Notice and GDPR and to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.

Coral will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies so that they may offer you their products and services. However, Coral may disclose your Personal Information to meet legal obligations, regulations or valid governmental request. We may also enforce its Terms and Conditions, including investigating potential violations of its Terms and Conditions to detect, prevent or mitigate fraud or security or technical issues; or to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Coral Windows, its clients and/or the wider community.

In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer.

Retention Policy

Coral will process personal data during the duration of any contract and will continue to store only the personal data needed to meet warranty and any legal obligations. If you have consented to receiving marketing and or product & service information from us, we will retain your personal data to enable such contacts. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Data storage and Transfer of your information outside of EU

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of the EU. It may also be processed by staff operating outside of the EU who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing, or processing. If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU to give you those services. Your rights as a data subject

At any point whilst Coral is in possession of or processing your personal data (data), all data subjects have the right to access your information, to the rectification of your data, to the portability of your data, to the objection to the processing of your data, and to the deletion of your data.

You have a right at any time to stop Coral from contacting. If Coral do not act on your request under rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why, which you have the right to legally challenge. The only reason we will be able to deny your request to processing of your personal data is if we can show compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override your interest, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claims.

To access what Personal data is held, identification will be required

Coral will accept the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested:

A copy of your driving licence, passport, birth certificate and a utility bill not older than three months. A minimum of one piece of photographic ID listed above and a supporting document is required. If Coral is dissatisfied with the quality, further information may be sought before personal data can be released.

We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt of the request and proof of ID stated above.

Complaints

Should you wish to make a compliant about how your personal data is being processed by Coral or its partners, you have the right to complain to Coral Windows Data Controller. If you do not get a response within 30 days you can complain to the ICO.
