Coral Window Supports Better Lives Charity in Race the Dragon 2026

At Coral Windows, supporting our local community has always been incredibly important to us, which is why we are proud to be supporting Better Lives charity as part of this year’s Race the Dragon event on Sunday 5 July. Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is once again preparing for one of the district’s most exciting community events, Race the Dragon, a hugely popular annual event across Bradford, bringing together local businesses, charities and supporters for a day of teamwork, fundraising and fun.

This year, Better Lives charity will once again be taking to the water, raising vital funds to support people using mental health and community healthcare services across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. We are delighted to play a part in supporting such an important cause and helping raise awareness of the incredible work the charity carries out throughout our region.

As a Yorkshire-based business, we believe strongly in giving back to the communities we serve. Better Lives provides additional support and opportunities that go beyond standard NHS funding, helping to improve wellbeing, recovery and quality of life for many individuals and families across the district. The charity funds projects including therapeutic activities, wellbeing initiatives, sensory equipment and creative programmes designed to make a genuine difference to people’s lives.

Race the Dragon is a brilliant example of the local community coming together for a positive cause. The event sees 45 teams paddle head to head in exciting races while raising vital funds for important causes throughout the district to charities and organisations that provide essential support across Bradford and the surrounding areas. It is always a fantastic atmosphere, with supporters lining the waterfront to cheer on the teams throughout the day.

At Coral Windows, we understand how important community support and wellbeing services are, particularly when it comes to mental health and recovery services. We are incredibly proud to stand alongside Better Lives and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust in helping support initiatives that benefit local people and families. The Race the Dragon event continues to grow year after year and has become a real highlight in the Bradford community calendar. Alongside the races themselves, the day celebrates teamwork, determination and community spirit, values that we strongly believe in at Coral Windows.

We would like to wish the Better Lives team, all participants and organisers the very best of luck for the event on Sunday 5 July. We are honoured to support Better Lives and help contribute towards the valuable work they continue to provide throughout the district. Everyone at Coral Windows is excited to see another successful event this summer and we encourage everyone attending to show their support for the teams taking part and the fantastic causes they represent.
