Shelf Gala Saturday 5th July 2014 Dont miss it !!

Saturday 5th July 2014 is the 55th Shelf Gala held in Shelf Hall Park situated on the main road (A6036) through Shelf.
Proceedings will commence at 12.45pm with the departure of the procession from Bethel Chapel car park, through the village of Shelf to arrive at the Shelf Hall Park at approximately 1.30pm.
Float judging will be by the Mayor of Calderdale.
The Gala will be opened by the Gala Queen, Miss Megan Horner with her attendant Miss Lizzie Sparkes.

Falconry Life
Dance Stars
Street Stars
Outside the arena there is all the fun of the fair, stalls and displays, food outlets, small games for children, Beer Tent and Tea Tents. There is a five a side football competition with teams from local school, organised by Shelf Juniors AFC.
