Conservatory Extensions – Do They Really Add Property Value?

Are you thinking of adding a conservatory extension to your home, but wondering if it’s worth the investment?

A conservatory extension can add value to your home, but it depends on several key factors. At Coral Windows & Conservatories, we understand how big of an investment this home improvement really is. Therefore, in this article we are going to discuss the factors that affect the value of your conservatory extension to help you make a decision and choose the right installer for the job.

The Case For Adding Value

Conservatory extensions increase your living space which is a primary driver of increasing your property value. A high-quality product – like from Coral Windows & Conservatories – can increase your property value by approximately 5-15%.

By choosing a premium conservatory extension, this is essential for a smart and positive impact on your property.

Key Factors Affecting Value

Quality & Materials

Durable frames and high-quality double glazing are important for a long-lasting conservatory extension. Robust materials such as uPVC are often a popular choice due to their frame being built for longevity.

Design & Aesthetics

When choosing the right conservatory extension, being able to customise it is very important. You will want to make sure that it seamlessly complements your existing house style and not look like an add-on.

Versatile Functionality

Having a different type of roof, doors, windows and double or triple glazing will ensure that the space in your conservatory extension is usable all year-round. This will make the space a good place to relax or entertain friends, increasing your property value with the space being multi-purpose. These different features will also ensure maximum thermal efficiency, leaving your space at a comfortable temperature all year round, further increasing the use of your space and home value.

Planning Permissions

When planning your conservatory extension installation, you must consider the importance of following building regulations to avoid future issues with your high-quality investment.
